I’ve successfully set up and deployed an Jekyll website powered by AsciiDoc using the Jekyll AsciiDoc Quickstart project. If everything is in order then changes to the AsciiDoc content will be automatically published to my
gh_pages branch and hosted via Jekyll and Github.
Currently, there area two types of post: 1) Blog, basically talking about something or everything based on time. 2) Note, post that record or writen down a small snippets for the sake of convenience to explorations next time.
The AsciiDoc format is a useful presentation format in its own right: AsciiDoc markup is simple, intuitive and as such is easily proofed and edited.
